Studio Bee is a project studio in Zurich’s Kreis 4 for independent work with sound and image. The space offers a quiet, acoustically optimized environment with precise monitoring and a color-accurate, high-resolution display. The infrastructure is intentionally reduced: no computer is provided, allowing you to work in your preferred, customized setup. Bring your own device, plug in, and start working right away.

Access to the studio is available on a day-use basis. Introductions and workshops in music production, sound design, and software or hardware workflows can be arranged on request. Studio Bee is run by Piero Mirio Scherer, a Zurich-based composer, musician, and sound artist.

Studio Bee ist ein Projektstudio im Zürcher Kreis 4 für unabhängige Arbeit mit Klang und Bild. Der Raum bietet eine ruhige, akustisch optimierte Umgebung mit präziser Abhörsituation sowie einem farbgetreuen, hochauflösenden Bildschirm. Die Infrastruktur ist bewusst reduziert: Es steht kein Computer zur Verfügung, sodass du in deiner eigenen, individuellen Arbeitsumgebung arbeiten kannst. Eigenes Gerät anschliessen, einrichten und direkt loslegen.

Der Zugang zum Studio erfolgt tageweise. Einführungen sowie Workshops zu Musikproduktion, Sounddesign sowie Software- und Hardware-Workflows sind auf Anfrage möglich. Studio Bee wird von Piero Mirio Scherer geführt, einem in Zürich ansässigen Komponisten, Musiker und Sound Artist.
